1. About Jobupn
Jobupn is an AI-powered career intelligence platform that connects job seekers to relevant job opportunities and helps employers find qualified candidates. We use artificial intelligence to analyse CVs, match profiles to job listings, and provide career insights.
Jobupn is operated by Jobupn Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom.
2. Eligibility
To use the Platform, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age (or the legal working age in your jurisdiction)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be prohibited from using the Platform under any applicable laws
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Jobupn is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Provide false or misleading information in your profile, CV, or job applications
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Use the Platform to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or its systems
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform without permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we deem harmful to the Platform, its users, or third parties.
5. AI-Powered Services
Jobupn uses artificial intelligence to provide job matching, CV analysis, and career recommendations. By using these features, you acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated match scores and recommendations are not guarantees of employment
- AI outputs may contain inaccuracies or errors
- You should independently verify any information before making decisions
- Jobupn is not responsible for hiring decisions made by employers
Our AI systems are designed to assist, not replace, human judgment in the hiring process.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Platform, including CVs, profiles, and documents ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant Jobupn a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:
- Store, process, and display your User Content to provide our services
- Use your User Content to train and improve our AI systems
- Share your User Content with employers when you apply for jobs
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to upload User Content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
7. Job Listings
Job listings on Jobupn are sourced from employers, third-party job boards, and other sources. Jobupn does not guarantee:
- The accuracy, completeness, or availability of job listings
- That any job listing will result in employment
- The legitimacy or conduct of employers posting jobs
You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence on employers and job opportunities.
8. Fees and Payment
Jobupn is currently free for job seekers. We may introduce paid features or subscription plans in the future. Any changes to our pricing will be communicated in advance, and you will have the opportunity to accept or decline.
Employers may be subject to fees for accessing certain features. Employer pricing is available on request.
9. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its design, features, content, and technology, is owned by Jobupn and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform without permission
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
- Use Jobupn's trademarks without written consent
10. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
11. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOBUPN DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:
- Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- Warranties that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Warranties regarding the accuracy of AI-generated content or recommendations
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOBUPN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING:
- Loss of profits, revenue, or data
- Loss of employment opportunities
- Damages arising from reliance on AI recommendations
- Damages caused by third parties (including employers)
Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Jobupn (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jobupn, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Platform
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your User Content
14. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@jobupn.com. Jobupn may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately. Provisions of these Terms that should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
17. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Jobupn regarding the Platform.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms at any time.
